How to Return Eastlink Equipment

Returning your rental equipment first involves a call to Eastlink to ensure any associated monthly charges are removed.

Equipment charges may be applied to your bill at the time of disconnection, however those charges will be credited back to you once the equipment has been returned.

There are number of ways to return Eastlink equipment:

All equipment should be packed in a sturdy box with adequate packing material to keep the equipment protected.

Include the following in the box:

  • Cable Modem / Digital Receiver
  • Power Cord(s)
  • Remote(s) if applicable
  • Additional Cables
  • You will need to have your Eastlink Account Number
  • Visit the following Canada Post website:
    https://www.canadapost.ca/cpotools/apps/prse/label?execution=e1s1
  • Use the following Canada Post Return ID & Authorization number specific to your province:
    • Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, Newfoundland:
      Return ID #PR554380
      Return Authorization# 8124
    • Ontario:
      Return ID #PR542605
      Return Authorization# 8127
    • British Columbia, Alberta:
      Return ID #PR549783
      Return Authorization# 8125
  • The website will generate a unique tracking number.  Retain this for your records and tracking.
  • Affix the printed postage-paid shipping label to the outside of the box
  • Drop your package at any Canada Post location and it will be returned to Eastlink
You will also need to have your Eastlink Account Number and then:

When speaking to an Eastlink representative about removing any associated monthly charges, you can ask for one of the following:

  • Emailed Label (Quick and Convenient!)
    • Package your equipment
    • Go to your nearest Canada Post location with a copy of the email received from Eastlink
    • Canada Post will print a shipping label and attach it to your box
  • Mailed Label
    • Package your equipment
    • Attach the label received in the mail from Eastlink to the box containing the packaged equipment
    • Go to your nearest Canada Post location to mail it
