What is Eastlink Stream?

With Eastlink Stream you can watch your favourite live TV and OnDemand shows on your computer, tablet or smartphone from anywhere in Canada. Eastlink Stream does it all from one truly innovative easy-to-use app. Change channels or see what’s on now or later with a simple swipe, easily search for a show on Live TV or from within our huge OnDemand library. Simply select what you would like to watch, hit play and enjoy anytime you like.

  • Please visit https://sso.eastlink.ca/registration/ to register for Eastlink Stream today!
  • Download the Eastlink Stream App from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and sign in using your registered username and password
  • If you’re already registered for Eastlink Stream, or have previously registered for Eastlink To Go, simply download our new Eastlink Stream App and use your existing username and password to start using Eastlink Stream
  • It’s possible that some of the information has been mistyped. Please double-check to ensure your account number and postal code match the account number and postal code on your billing statements.
  • It's possible that your information may be incorrect in our billing system. Check your most recent billing statement. Is your Postal Code incorrect on your bill? If so, please contact Customer Service at the number below (choose option 2, then 3, then 3 again), and we will have the information corrected in our billing system. This correction could take up to 24 hours before you'd be able to register for Eastlink Stream
  • If the problem persists, please contact our Tech Support agents at 1-888-345-1111 or click the online chat button for instant help.
  • This error indicates your internet connection may not be working properly. Try closing your web browser and then opening it again to see if other websites display normally.
  • If they do not, please refer to our Internet troubleshooting FAQ’s.
  • Your username will always be the email address you entered when you registered for Eastlink Stream, whether that’s an Eastlink email address or otherwise. This cannot be changed.
    • Check to see if you have mistyped it and try again.
  • To reset your password, click on the “Forgot Password” option or visit https://sso.eastlink.ca/recovery/password to reset your password
  • To set parental controls, tap on SETTINGS on the app
  • Then tap on PARENTAL CONTROLS. You can enable parental controls by tapping YES and to create a PIN, you need to tap on CREATE PIN.
  • Once you have done that, you can set your Parental controls for TV and/or OnDemand by selecting Television and/or On Demand.
  • This is a feature of the app to ensure you are viewing all content with optimal picture quality on your device.
  • Please ensure that you subscribe to the channel. You can find information on the channels available in your package by visiting the channel guide page, contacting Eastlink at 1-888-345-1111 or by clicking the online chat button for instant help.
  • Your Eastlink Stream subscription is tied to your account number. When you moved, we gave you a new account number. To view the subscription-based content, you’ll need to update your account number in the Eastlink Stream settings.
  • Please click here and sign into your Eastlink Stream account. Go into Account Settings and update your account information (new account number).
  • On the Settings page, update the account number field with your new account number. To learn where you can easily find your new account number; your account number can be found on your Eastlink billing statement.
  • If you have external speakers for your device, make sure they are plugged in and turned on. They can improve sound quality.
  • Please ensure that you have you have optimal WiFi strength / reception if you are on a WiFi connection or optimal network coverage if you are using data. Performance will degrade if you have a weak connection or weak reception.
  • Check the volume level on your device. Make sure it’s set to an acceptable level and not too low/loud or mute.
  • If the problem persists, try closing the app completely and then opening it back up again and logging back in to Eastlink Stream
  • If the problem persists, try turning your device off completely and turning it back on again.

  • Make sure your device meets the system requirements for the app.
  • If you are connecting to the internet via your mobile provider, try connecting to your home WiFi network instead to see if your video quality improves.
