Voicemail Migration FAQ’s:

Yes, once you have inputted a PIN, you may begin accessing voicemail with the same PIN going forward. If you have a PIN programmed in your handset, and you don’t know what it was, you may have to change your handset settings and match the PIN that you just setup with your new voicemail system. If you chose to bypass PIN with your new voicemail system, please make sure that you have removed the PIN from your handset settings. To modify your PIN settings on your handset, follow your handset manufacturer’s instructions.

Please try exporting the voicemails to an email inbox that does not have firewall restrictions on attachments. (Most personal email inboxes do not have firewall restrictions on zipped files.)

Please check your email filters as well as the Junk and SPAM folders. If you do not see the email from Eastlink in any of your folders 24 hours after your voicemail export, please contact us here

On the day your voicemail service is moved there are no changes required. You’ll have the same password, recordings and options as well as a new French language option.

All migrations are scheduled for November 16th, 2016. Each customer will be informed through an SMS, email and broadcast message approximately two weeks in advance, as well as a reminder message six days in advance. All customers will also receive a confirmation SMS on the day their migration is completed.

No, all previously recorded greetings will be migrated. After migration, you can verify that your correct greeting is in place. If the correct greeting is not in place, you can follow the menu prompts to set the correct greeting.

No, you will be able to listen to your old voicemails by dialing 902-410-6245 and entering your cellular phone number and pin number until December 1st, 2016.

The main menu and sub-menu options remain the same.

All customers will receive the update with the exception of customers who have Visual Voicemail service.  These customers are already on the new service.
