1. Tap on the icon titled Email (this can be found on either main page or under Applications)
2. Under Email address enter your email address
3. Under Password enter your password
4. Tap Manual setup
5. Tap IMAP account
6. Enter the following:
User name: Your email address
Password: Your password
IMAP server: mail.eastlink.ca
Security type: SSL
Port: 993
IMAP path prefix: Do not enter anything
Tap Next
7. Under Outgoing server settings enter the following:
SMTP server: mail.eastlink.ca
Security type: SSL
Port: 465
Require sign-in: Check the box
User name: Your email address
Password: Your password
8. Tap Next
9. Under Account options enter the following:
Email check frequency: Your preference
Notify me when email arrives: Your preference
10. Tap Next
11. Under Set up email enter the following:
Give this account a name (Optional): Enter Eastlink
Your name (Displayed on outgoing messages): Enter your full name
12. Tap Done

3. Tap Add Account
4. Scroll down, tap Other
5. Tap Add Mail Account
6. Enter the following:
Name: Your display name
Email: Your email address
Password: Your password
Description: Eastlink
7. Tap IMAP
8. Under Incoming Mail Server:
Host Name: mail.eastlink.ca
User Name: Email address
Password: Your password
9. Under Outgoing Mail Server:
Host Name: mail.eastlink.ca
User Name: Email address
Password: Your Password
10. At the top tap Next
11. Mail slider is set to On
12. At the top tap Save
13. If your setup did not auto-detect the email server details refer to the below instructions:
14. Under Accounts tap Eastlink
15. Under IMAP tap Account (your email address)
16. Scroll down and under Outgoing Mail Server tap SMTP mail.eastlink.ca
17. Under Primary Server tap mail.eastlink.ca
18. Under Outgoing Mail Server change the following:
Use SSL slider turned ON
Server Port: 465
19. At the top tap Done
20. You will be returned to the SMTP page
21. At the top tap Account
22. Tap on Advanced
23. Scroll to the bottom of the page and change the following:
Use SSL slider turned ON
Server Port: 993
24. At the top tap Account
25. At the top tap Done

2. Tap on Mail, Contacts, and Calendars
3. Tap Add Account, tap Other
4. Tap Add Mail Account
5. Type in your name, email address, email password and description (Eastlink)
6. Incoming Mail Server
Host name:
mail.eastlink.ca
User name: full email address
Password: email password
7. Outgoing Mail Server
Host Name: mail.eastlink.ca
User name: full email address
Password: email password
8. Click Save
Once you have saved the account, you will then see the Mail, Contacts and Calendars screen again.
9. Under accounts, tap Eastlink
10. Scroll down to Outgoing Mail Server
SMTP: mail.eastlink.ca, tap on the arrow
Primary Server: mail.eastlink.ca: On, tap on the arrow
Use SSL: ON
Authentication: Password
Server Port: 465
11. Tap Done

9. Account Summary
Click Create
10. Now you will see the Accounts screen again, click on the Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP) drop down list. Select Edit SMTP Server List.
11. Select eastlink.ca from the above list, the Account Information will be showing below, click Advanced
12. Use custom port 25, click OK
13. Close Accounts screen

4. You will see a window that is titled E-mail Accounts, Select " New "
5. This will open Internet E-Mail Settings, please select "Manually configure server settings or additional server types and click Next
6. Select Internet E-mail and click Next
7. Please put in the following information.

Your name: The name you would like people to see when you send them an email
E-mail Address: Your email address
Server Information
Account Type: POP3
Incoming Mail Server:

Outgoing Mail Server:

(if on a desktop computer)
Logon Information
User Name:Your full email address
Password: Your email password
Please put a check mark in Remember password
8. Click Next, then click Finish.

2. Click on File
3. Click Account Settings
4. You will see a window that is titled E-mail Accounts, Select " New "
5. This will open Internet E-Mail Settings, please put in the following information.
User Information
Your name: The name you would like people to see when you email them.

Account Type: POP3

User Name: Your full email address

Please put a check mark in Remember password
6. Click More Settings, this opens the Internet E-mail Settings, please click Outgoing Server, put a check mark in My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication and select Use same settings as my incoming mail server.
7. Click on Advanced, then Server Port Numbers
Incoming server (POP3): 995
Put a check mark in This server requires an encrypted connection (SSL)
Outgoing server (SMTP): 465
Use the following encrypted connection: SSL
Down near the bottom is Delivery, if you are checking your email from multiple devices, put a check mark in Leave a copy of the messages on the server.
Then click OK at the bottom of the window.
8. This will bring you back to Internet E-mail Settings, click Next, then click Finish.

Select: Use same settings as my incoming mail server
12. On the Advanced tab, configure the following:
Set the Incoming server to: 995
Check mark in: This server requires an encrypted connection (SSL)
Set the Outgoing server to: 465
Select SSL from the encryption dropdown
Click OK

***Important*** There must be a Microsoft account entered first (ex. @hotmail, @live, @outlook) in order to add additional email accounts.
1. Once a Microsoft account has been added move your mouse to the bottom right of the screen.
2. You will see 5 icons appear. Move your mouse to the symbol entitled Settings and click on it.
3. A blue side bar will open on the right side of the screen. Click on Accounts.
4. Then click on Add an account.
5. Click on Other Account.
6. A new page will open asking for the Email address and Password.
7. Enter your Email address and Password.
8. Below click on Show more details.
9. Under Username add your full email address.
10. Under Incoming (IMAP) email server enter: mail.eastlink.ca. Beside that Port: 993.
11. Under Outgoing (SMTP) email server: mail.eastlink.ca. Beside that Port: 465.
12. Make sure that all 4 check boxes are checked.
13. At the bottom click Connect.

5. Provide the information requested:
Email Address: Full E-mail address
Password: Type your E-mail password
6. Click Sign In
The software will attempt to automatically configure the E-mail account on your computer, if successful then you are done, otherwise continue with step 7
7. Click Advanced
8. Confirm/Provide the information requested:
For Account Name: Eastlink E-mail
Your Name: Your Full Name
Incoming Mail Server: mail.eastlink.ca
Account Type: IMAP4
Email Address: Full E-mail address
User Name: Full E-mail address
Password: E-mail Password
Outgoing SMTP Email Server: mail.eastlink.ca
9. Ensure there is a check mark in all 4 check boxes
10. Click Sign In
11. Click Done
