Configure my Modem for Bridged Mode - Arris DG 2470


Setting up your modem in Bridged Mode allows you to use your own, third party router to control your internet connections.

Important: These steps are not recommended for Maestro Service as following these steps will disable your TV service.

   To modify the settings of your Wi-Fi modem:

  • Open a web browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, Chrome, etc.)
  • In the address bar, type: 192.168.0.1
  • Enter Username*: admin
  • Enter Password*: password
  • Click Login
  • Under the LAN Setup section, locate the NAT setting and change the drop down selection to Bridged
  • Click Apply to save your changes               
    • You may be promtped to restart your device, if so, click OK and continue
    • Under the Basic Setup section, remove the checkmarks from Enable Wireless under both Wireless 2.4 GHz and Wireless 5 GHz
    • Click Apply to save your changes
      • You may be promtped to restart your device, if so, click OK and continue
    • Under the Utilities section, select Restart Router and then click Restart
    • Click OK
