The following information will help you navigate and use your Eastlink TiVo services.
In order to use many of the TiVo features the remote control must be paired with the receiver it is used on, follow the directions below to properly pair your remote to it's TiVo Receiver, your TV, and/or your Audio Video Receiver.
To put the Remote Control in Programming mode:

Please Note: The remote must be in RF mode (amber light flashes when keys are pressed) and paired with a specific receiver for Voice Control and Remote Finder to work. Voice Control does not work within apps such as YouTube and Netflix.
If the Voice Control Icon (Blue Mic) doesn’t appear on the TV screen when you press the voice button on the remote, it means that the remote is not paired with the receiver. Not paired? See How do I Pair My Remote
Voice control search is extremely powerful and intelligent. The following are a few examples of Voice Control terms/phrases:
While watching recorded content:
Parental Controls have to be set on each receiver individually.
Turn Parental Controls on to block TV shows and movies by rating or to lock specific channels. This PIN does not prevent PPV OR VIDEO ON DEMAND purchases
Hide Adult Content
Removes all adult shows from Search. Hides the titles and descriptions of adult shows in the Guide and My Shows
Require a PIN to watch certain channels
Require a PIN when purchasing TV shows or movies from Video on Demand or Pay-Per-View
Change the Parental Controls or Purchase Controls PIN (Must know current PIN to change a PIN)
Disable Parental Controls
Disable Parental Controls to **permanently **stop requiring a PIN to view blocked shows or channels
Set Rating Limits
When there’s a rating associated to a program, you can choose what rating on a program you’ll allow or not allow to be viewed (i.e. 14+, PG, G, etc). If there is no rating associated to a program you can choose to block all unrated programs or allow all unrated programs
If a recorded program has been accidentally deleted, follow the below steps to attempt to recover it.
Closed captioning, descriptive audio, menu language, and screen reader features are available with the Tivo Service. Follow the steps below to access these services and settings.
The mobile device and the TiVo DVR must both be connected to the same in-home WiFi network. The mobile device must be using WiFi, NOT a 3G, 4G, or LTE connection.

For a One Time Search:
TiVo OnePass helps you manage your video content. OnePass locates episodes of your selected series from live TV, OnDemand, as well as Netflix and Prime Video (subscription is required) and will identify and record the episodes as they as they become available.
There are four main ways you can setup a OnePass:
Note: If you only wish to record a single show/episode you can select Record just this episode and press OK.
Once you have completed the above steps and have not opted to record just a single episode, you will be presented with the available recording options for the OnePass. The options available are:
Once you have customized the above options to your preference you can either scroll up to the top of that screen and select Create OnePass with these options and press OK, or you can press the A button to accept/use these settings.
Your OnePass recordings for this series will appear in the My Shows section within your TiVo menu. For more detailed instructions about how to manage your recordings, please click here and refer to page 28.
