On the Welcome! screen select Canada.
Select your preferred language.

On the Wireless Network Setup screen press OK to begin wireless network setup.
On the Wireless Network Name screen, select your home WiFi network.
NOTE: only 5GHz networks are shown.
Enter your home WiFi network’s password then move down to Done Entering Network Password and press OK.
On the IP Address screen, select Get Automatically from DHCP Server (typical) and press OK.
Wait for each line item on the checklist to appear (Done) then press OK.
Choose a name for your TiVo mini from the list, or create one yourself.
You are now finished and can enjoy your TiVo Mini

Are you on the same network as your DVR? The mobile device and the TiVo DVR must both be connected to the same in-home WiFi network.
The mobile device must be using WiFi, NOT a 3G, 4G, or LTE connection.

The TiVo service has 6 tuners which allows for simultaneous recording or live-program viewing. If all 6 tuners are in use, one of the tuners needs to be available before another program can be viewed, recorded or allow access through the Eastlink TiVo app. If all tuners are currently in use, you may see a message such as:
"Shows are currently recording on all tuners..." or "Live TV is temporarily unavailable because the DVR is using a setting that requires all tuners..."
If you’re seeing one of these errors:
Tune into a live TV channel or a currently-recording program you wish to cancel
Press the TiVo button on the remote twice (2 times) to release the tuner and/or cancel the recording in progress
If the issue remains, Check to see if you can access the recording or live TV program directly from the DVR.
If you can access the recording or live TV program on your DVR, Powercycle the TiVo DVR:
Unplug your digital receiver’s power cord from the wall
Check and tighten any loose cables on the digital box and TV
Plug the receiver’s power cord back in, turn it on and try the channel again.

This message will typically be displayed when you have selected one of your TiVo Mini's in the app, rather than the TiVo DVR. Only the TiVo DVR is capable of streaming to the TiVo App.
If you’re seeing this error:
In the top left corner of the app, select the menu button (3 horizontal lines), then select the drop down arrow and select your TiVo DVR from the list of available TiVo devices. Then retry your streaming via the app.

The remote must be in RF mode and paired with a specific box for Voice Control to work

Time - Jump Ahead up to 24 Hours

For instance, saying just a channel number “36” won’t work, but, if you say “Channel 36” it will.
